*** VEGA STAR HOTEL is situated in the heart of Giant Mountain in the middle of the toustistic resort Benecko (150 m from the bus station "U Obecního úřadu"). It is also placed on southern side of mountain Žalý (1036 m) right beside the skitows of Skiarea Benecko, running-ski and touristic paths. The large car park is situated right beside the hotel (free for the quests). Hotel offer accomodation in 2 twin rooms, 19 twin to tripple room and 4 apartments (2 bedrooms with 2 and 3 beds). All the rooms are equiped with its own WC and bathroom with the shower, balcony and color TV with satelite receiver. Right in the hotel is restaurant with terrace, day and night bar (with darts), gaming-room with table tennis, sauna with small swimming-bath and jaccuzi. On the each floor is the commond room or nook for children. The families or numerous groups will be pleased by hotel BONUS program. For numerous group hotel can offer individual prices and special conditions.

VEGA STAR RESTAURANT (daily 11 a.m. till 10 p.m., possibly longer) - restaurant with the large menu of tasty foods and drings and pleasant prices is very famous in surrounding and it is well haunted by the guest not only from the accomodated ones. On the menu you can find international cuisine (fish - trout, salmon, steaks, etc.), czech cuisine and traditional regional meals. Of course you can choose also from the wide menu of vegetarian food and food for children. For gourmets we offer meals with order before like roasted duck, goose, pork knees or chateaubriand. If you will not find in menu your favourite food we will prepare it for you (if it would be possible). Except from permanent menu we offer you prepared food, food on lava grill which are prepared right in front of guests etc. We can also arrange the special events - special dinners, barbecue of pigling, pig-sticking, fish feasts, evenings of regional cuisine, gala lunches and dinners (weddings, graduations, christening, celebration of anniversaries, birthdays, partis, etc.) or firm happenings.

You can play table tenis, darts or petánque on brand new playground (international measures 4x15m). For the smallest is available sand-pit, on the large field right beside hotel you can play various games with ball or another sport (archery, etc.). Exhausted by sport or by trips you can relax in hotel sauna, where we have prepared for you also the big jacuzzi. Surroundings
In winter time the skitow for the smallest children is situated right beside the hotel. Their beginings on ski will be watched by experienced instructors of skiing. Their parents can observe them from the convenience of hotel-restaurant. The bottom station of skitows of Skiarea Benecko is quite near too. Well known are especially skitows Kejnos and Liška. The nearest one is skitow Macher which is very convenient also for not very good skiers. In hotel services is included the reservation of skipass for all skitows of Skiarea Benecko. For advanced skiers is very pleasant fact of artificial cover of snow and lightsome downhills for night skiing. From the bottom station of mentioned skitows you can get to the others downhill courses in area (in sum 8). All equipment for skiing you can rent in our rental and servis whose are situated in our hotel. In summer time you can enjoy any from the large proposition of activity for the free time in the nearest surroundings - e.g. swimming in swimming pool in Benecko (aprox. 100 m far from hotel) or in the Vrchlabí (where is switchback too), rides on horses (Hucul farm, Kněžice farm), you can play golf on six-hole public golf course in Benecko, from Herlikovice you can go by cable way on Žalý mountain and run down by rented mountain scooters or make a tourist or cycling-tourist trip into surrounding. If you would like to enjoy the company you can visit disco A-Club, Center of Entertainment (bowling, minigolf, billiard) and Café Harlekýn which all are situated in Benecko right opposite the main parking place. Another places for fun you can find in the nearest resorts (Jilemnice and Vrchlabí 8 Kms, Rokytnice n. Jiz. a Špindlerův Mlýn 20 Kms).
