Kundratice - consisted until 1661 of a few cottages, standing in the lower part of Osečná, before it was given independence and a name. There was a peat land to be found near the new village, which gave an origin of perhaps the oldest spa in Czechia. In 1880 Josef Schwan built here a small house, he fitted it with two baths and used peat for bathing. His son extended the building, made peat bog accessible and opened in 1901 a peat and hydrotherapeutic spa. It was a year later that the village was given an official name Lázně Kundratice and its representatives decided at last in 1909 to buy and reextend it. The spa equipment was even in 1933 considered one of the most modern in the country. These days Lázně Kundratice is again part of the Osečná. Lázně Kundratice provide its guests procedures, favourably affecting the following diseases: rheumatic arthritidis, Morbus Bechterev, vertebral functional defects (blockages), chronic discal syndromes and after-operating states after operation of spinal discs, arthritis, spondylosis, spondylarthritis, defected locomotive stereotypes, muscle rheumatism, diseases of muscles, tendons this all of the inflammatory, toxic and traumatic origin. In addition to these diseases it is possible to favourably affect also incorporated diseases, such as heperurikemy, hypertension, ischemic diseases of lower limbs, diabetes etc.
