Lookout tower and hut Zvičina (Hradec Králové a okolí)

The remarkable lookout tower with glassed-in revolving cupola was put into service in 1926. The rather low tower is a part of Rais Lodge and it was unfortunately unavailable for many years. The hilltop of Zvičina (671m) provides nice view of its surroundings. Besides the low foothills and ridges of Giant Mountains, you can see Kunětická hora, Železné hory and if the weather is good you can even see Žďárské vrchy, Říp, České středohoří, Bezděz, Lusatian Mountains, Ještěd, and Jizera Mountains.
