Castle Vrchotovy Janovice (Okolí Prahy - jih)

The medieval stronghold was rebuilt into a Renaissance castle during the 14th century. The castle was adapted several times, lastly in the 19th century in Romanesque-Gothic style. The castle interiors host a collection of the National Museum ? it is specialized in the Czech society during the 19th century. In the original Gothic dungeon you will find an exhibition of Czech bell making.
