Castle Hořovice was originally a Baroque building from the beginning of the 18th century. After 1737 the ground plan was enlarged into the shape of the letter H. Nowadays the castle?s state is a result of many reconstructions from the 2nd half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20.century. Since the beginning of the 18th century until the year 1852 the owner of the castle was Vrbnoš of Bruntál, in 1852 - 1945 it belonged to Hanau Schaumburg.
The main hall with wall paintings of Carl Würbs conforming with Mane´s Cycle "Life on the Virgin Estate". Other historical interiors are Red Parlour, Biedermeier, the dinning room, Library, Hunting Parlour, Golden Parlour.
