Dam Souš (Jablonec n. N. a Jizerské hory)

The dam on the river Černá Desná was built in the same years as the dam on the river Bílá Desná that broke through. After the disaster of 1916 the dam Souš was emptied. It was refilled after a proper inspection of the dam. The inspection finished in the years 1925-27. Till 1970s the dam served for recreational uses. Since 1974 the dam has been used as the reservoir of the drinking water for the whole Jablonec area.
