In 1991 the precinct of an original Johannine Monastery founded in the 13th century were discovered at the premises of a former chateau. The great hall of Johannine Commandery is a unique example of medieval architecture. In the 16th century, a Renaissance chateau was raised in place of the monastery destroyed by Hussites, used as farm buildings after the great fire in 19th century.
