The Museum and ?Pojizerská? gallery in Semily, which we can find in the house where I. Olbracht (famous writer) was born, offers two permanent exhibitions. One is called ?Famous persons of Semily town?, which is draft as a literary monument, and the other is the ethnographic exhibition called ?Unforgettable history? in architecturally interesting attic. It focuses upon traditional handicraft and folk culture of this region. As a part of this exposition there are also historical marionettes of the well-known puppet family Maizner. Pojizerská gallery offers art and thematic exhibitions and the Cultural Centre cultural performances.
