Castle Hrubá Skála (Český ráj)

The Hrubá Skála Chateau was built on sandstone rocks at the place of a medieval castle called Skála. In the middle of the 16th century it was rebuilt to a Renaissance manor house and in 1859 reconstructed in a Neogothic style in the spirit of Romantism. Today it serves as a hotel with a court and outlook-tower on view.
