The Knight?s hall (Dům U Rytířů) was built in renaissance style in the 1540's. It is one of the most beautiful renaissance buildings in Litomyšl and also in the Czech Republic. The building got its name from the images of the two guards standing on the sides of the central window. There are also other figures decorating the facade - a student, a merchant, a mermaid, a lion and a unicorn. Alois Jirásek mentioned this house in his tale "At the Knights' House". Today the house is used as an exhibition hall.
