Hill Luž near Horní Světlá (Lužické hory)

Luž is 793 meters high mountain, it is the highest peak in the Lusatian mountains. The mountain is situated about 1,5 km of Horní Světlá. The state border with Germany goes over its peak. There used to stand a restaurant and a view-tower but they burnt out. From the top there is a fine view to Ore Mountains, Czech Switzerland, Bohemian Midlands´hills, Ještěd Ridge, Jizera Mountains and Giant Mountains. There are also ski centers on both sides of the mountain.
