Lookout Tower Hvozd (Lužické hory)

Hvozd is 749 meters high mountain situated on the state border with Germany. It has two peaks and the border goes over the south one. Tourists have visited the mountain since the 18th century. On the south peak there used to be two restaurants. The Czech one burned out in the year 1946. The German restaurant works up to the present day. In the 1891 there was built the 25 m high stone view-tower and restaurant on the north peak in Germany.
