The Old Town Hall was rebuilt of the building of burgher's house from the 16th century. In 1814 the tower was added to it. The bell in the tower summoned the councilors to council meetings and later it served to warn the inhabitants in case of a fire.

The building has remained until these days almost unchanged. It served as a town hall till World War II. and today the building is the seat of the Municipal Popular Library.
