Ruins of Kyjovský Castle (Šluknovský výběžek)

It is the remnant of former rocky castle Kyjovský hrad is situated on sandstone headland (385 m), 1 km west of village Kyjov. Its walls are vertically falling into canyon of river Krinice. The castle was built in the second half of 14th century, when region belonged to clan of Michalovice. In the end of 15th century the castle became extinct.
