A hunting chateau called Jemčina lies at the crossroad of several hiking and cycling routes, in the seclusion in the middle of forests, 9 km north of Třeboň. The first mention of the chateau dates back to 1348, when there was the residence called Nový Dvůr (New Court). The chateau was built in 1748 by the Černín´s House. The most valuable part of the chateau is the chapel of St. Jan Nepomucký built in 1767-69, the cupola of which is decorated with J. Q. Jahn´s frescos depicting the life of the chapel's patron.
