Synagogue and Cemetery - Brandýs nad Labem (Okolí Prahy - východ)
|
The synagogue was built in 1829 in a place of two older synagogues destroyed by fires in 1787 and 1827. It is a simple Classicist building with two-floor women?s gallery. There is also a very valuable cemetery from 1568 with Renaissance and Baroque tombstones. The oldest tombstone is from 1572.
