Castle Helfenburk - Castle Tower near Bavorov (Strakonicko)

This large Rosenberg castle from the 14th century was probably abandoned in the first half of the 16th century decayed to 1930s. Then, it came into the hands of the Club of Czech Tourists, who took care of its repairs and opened one of the castle towers as a lookout. Its top provides a magnificent view. Helfenburk is located 5 km west of Bavorov.
