The theatre in Tábor was named after a famous composer Oskar Nedbal, who was born in Tábor. The theatre was built in the year 1887 and it was inspired by the National Theatre in Prague. In 1965 the theatre was reconstructed and at the same time a modern theatre building with a neo-classical front was adjoined to the old one. As only an auditorium was added and not another stage, the theatre has a rarity - one stage with two auditoriums attached orthogonally.
Box office is open: Monday ? Friday 15.00 - 18.00 and one hour before the beginning of every performance.
