At the end of the 13th century there was built a bishop?s stronghold, which was completely destroyed during the Thirty Years War. Today we can see only a monumental bridge over the moat and large stonewalls. In place of the stronghold there was built a Baroque castle serving as the residence of Archbishops. Today there is located museum that shows the regional history, the history of puppeteering, and also moldavites, which were first found in this region.
