Kopicův statek (Kopic's Farm) near Kacanovy (Český ráj)

Kopicův statek is one of the best examples of folk architecture in Pojizeří. It is a half-timbered farmstead from the beginning of the 19th century, situated in the village of Kacanovy. In front of the farmstead there is a folk sculpture of St. George on a horseback. The owner of the farmstead, Vojtěch Kopic was a self-taught sculptor who made stone reliefs of historical personalities and events on the rocks nearby. He also added his own verses and texts.
